"I was looking for the right pet for my four year old niece and really wasn't sure what type of dog would be best. I honestly just kind of thought dogs were dogs. Speaking to Shannon was incredibly enlightening as I learned of dog personalities and the type of pet best suited to a rural family with a young child (4 years old). Shannon went so far as to accompany me to the local SPCA and helped me choose a gentle and loving Husky-mix for my niece.
The in-home sessions where Shannon helped teach us to train him were wonderful. He can literally be walked by a child, he barks only when appropriate, and when taking snacks or food he is so gentle that I let my infant son give him treats.
